Enrollment Policies & Disclaimers
Any changes we make will be retroactive and supersede all previously shared policy & disclaimer language. Only the most up-to-date policies and disclaimers will be operative.

SUPPORT YOUR CHILD'S GROWTH - Parent Involvement Expectations
*Ages and length of session may vary by location* We aim to provide a safe and positive environment for your child to develop soccer skills, learn positive character traits, and have fun! Please cheer for all children, clap for their efforts, and motivate them to respond positively to successes and challenges!

  • Mini Sessions (ages 2-3) - One parent or guardian is required to be with their child on the field for the session at all times. Children at this age learn especially well with you closely encouraging and giving them a helping hand.
  • Classic Sessions (ages 3-5) - Parents or guardians are not required to be on the field; however, know that for the first week or two, you are welcome to come onto the field to encourage or help your child as they adjust to the program. If your child needs additional assistance with performing a skill, participating in an activity, or listening to their coach, we kindly ask that you step in to help.
  • Premier Sessions (ages 5-8) - Parents or guardians are not required to be on the field. We encourage you to sit back and enjoy watching your child have fun learning! If your child needs additional assistance with performing a skill, participating in an activity, or listening to their coach, we kindly ask that you step in to help.

WEATHER POLICY:

  • All temperatures, wind speeds, and humidity percentages that do not fall within serviceable conditions may be deemed unplayable and will require your scheduled session to be canceled or postponed. Soccer Shots reserves the right to hold outdoor or indoor sessions in all weather conditions while considering the health and safety of participants and staff. Please visit our What To Wear webpage for more details on how to dress appropriately for Soccer Shots!

SPECTATOR POLICY:

  • We recommend that families adhere to a two-spectator limit per family to respect local crowding recommendations, operate within capacity limits agreed upon with our local partners, and reduce the overall foot traffic and distractions at our programs.
  • Any spectator present at our private event at a school or public park must have permission from the account holder of the participant to attend.
  • Spectators must follow all guidelines and rules at the partnering location. Spectators who violate the Spectator Policy will not be permitted to attend all future private events.

REFUND POLICY:

  • Refunds will not be issued for failure to attend a scheduled class.
  • Should Soccer Shots find it necessary to remove a child from a class, a refund will be issued after deduction for classes that have already occurred.
  • The enrollment fee, which covers a Soccer Shots jersey's packaging, shipment, and delivery, will not be refunded if a parent cancels their child's enrollment.
  • The enrollment fee, which covers a Soccer Shots jersey's packaging, shipment, and delivery, may be refunded if we cancel a program for low enrollment. If your program is canceled for this reason, you may:
    • Email southeastpa@soccershots.com for our office address in Paoli, PA.
    • Package and ship your jersey within seven days of the program being canceled due to low enrollment.
    • The jersey must have tags on it to show that it is unused.
    • Participants will be responsible for all shipping and handling costs for jersey returns.
    • We recommend that parents keep their Soccer Shots jersey and forgo the enrollment fee refund. That will ensure the participant's school year enrollment fee remains active and that your account will not be charged this fee again for the remainder of that enrollment period.
  • Refunds requested after Week 3 of the program will not be considered.
  • Soccer Shots will adhere to Township Refund Policies for all external registrations where registration is through the township or an external source. In these cases, you must contact the township regarding any refund request.
  • Refunds requested before Week 3 of the program may be approved. Weeks 1 & 2 will not be included in the refund. A $35.00 administration fee will be applied to any issued refund.
  • No refunds will be issued for failure to attend a make-up class.
  • All requests for credits must be emailed to a Soccer Shots representative.
  • A refund may not be accepted for any reason except:
    • The physical ability of the child to participate in the program.
  • If a cash refund is not approved under the current policy, a credit may be applied at the discretion of Soccer Shots.
  • The refund policy is subject to change(s) at any time.
  • The current refund policy will apply to any previous enrollments.

COVID-19 SPECIFIC REFUND DETAILS:

  • We are currently monitoring the evolving conditions regarding COVID-19. We plan to run all scheduled future seasons of Soccer Shots but may need to make adjustments to start and end dates or how the Soccer Shots Experience is delivered as we adhere to federal, state, and local guidelines.
  • Refunds (Partial or Full) will not be issued for any school, site, or field closure due to natural disasters, government emergencies, health crises, non-essential business closures, youth sports closures, or other fortuitous events. All efforts will be made to provide virtual sessions to replace canceled on-field sessions.
  • Credits (Partial or Full) will not be issued for any school, site, or field closure due to natural disasters, government emergencies, health crises, non-essential business closures, youth sports closures, or other fortuitous events. All efforts will be made to provide virtual sessions to replace canceled on-field sessions.
  • Please note that this policy does not apply to external enrollment locations.

PAYMENT POLICY:

  • Payment must be received before the first session.

MAKE-UP CLASSES & CANCELLATIONS:

  • During the spring, summer, and fall seasons, whenever possible, we will use indoor space during inclement weather. If no indoor space is available, we will make up a maximum of two classes due to inclement weather.
  • During the winter season, if your school or center is closed on a Soccer Shots day due to snow or other weather-related issues, we will work with your school or center to reschedule up to two canceled sessions.
  • Make-up classes may be held on a different day or time than the regularly scheduled class.
  • Soccer Shots reserves the right to cancel any program due to insufficient enrollment. Upon cancellation, a full refund will be made.
  • For park and community programs, there may be instances where a park or church/site schedules an event that conflicts with our agreed-upon start and end dates. If this is the case, there may be times when we have to postpone a session and add on another week due to this event. Please realize that when signing up for programs at parks, churches, and community sites, we do not have complete control of these types of events, and the set schedule may be subject to change.

ARRIVAL & DISMISSAL POLICY:

  • Parents must sign out children from after-school programs at their session unless their child is signed up for aftercare. Parents are expected to arrive a few minutes before the session is complete. Children signed up for aftercare will be taken to aftercare when the session ends.
  • If your child is to be picked up by someone other than yourself, please note the authorized pickup person on the registration.

STAFFING POLICY:

  • All staff undergo a thorough training process and coaching evaluation.
  • All staff must pass our required background checks and be cleared to work with children.
  • Staff assignments are not guaranteed for an entire season, and multiple staff members may lead your session(s) throughout a season.

LOW ENROLLMENT POLICY:

  • If the public program you are enrolled in has low enrollment, we will notify families approximately two weeks before the program's scheduled start date. This message will include the date by which we will make a final decision on the class's status.
  • If enrollment does not increase, a decision regarding the program will be made one week before the start date.
  • If we need to cancel the program, families will first be offered the option to transfer into an alternate class. If we can't find a suitable session, you can receive a credit on your Soccer Shots account or a refund to your original form of payment.
  • If your new class is just one week shorter or longer than your original class, we’ll match the original price. If it’s two weeks or more different, we’ll adjust the price to reflect the change.
  • The enrollment fee—which covers the cost of the Soccer Shots jersey, packaging, and shipping—may be refunded only if the program is canceled due to low enrollment. If you choose to transfer to another class, the enrollment fee will not be refunded.
    • If you opt for a credit or refund due to program cancellation, you may either request a refund of the enrollment fee or choose to retain it for use in another season during the same enrollment period.
