Enrollment Policies & Disclaimers

REFUND POLICY:

• Refunds will not be issued for failure to attend a scheduled class.
• Should Soccer Shots find it necessary to remove a child from a class, a refund will be issued after deduction for classes already attended.
• A $25.00 administration fee will be applied to any refund issued.
• Refund requests made after week 3 of the season will not be considered.
• No refunds will be issued for failure to attend a make-up class.
• All requests for credits must be made in writing and emailed to a Soccer Shots representative.
• A refund may not be accepted for ALL reasons unrelated to:
  • The physical ability of the child to participate in the program.
• In the event that a cash refund is not approved under the current policy, a credit may be applied in the discretion of Soccer Shots.
• Refund Policy subject to change(s) at any given time.
• The current refund policy will apply to any previous enrollments.
• COVID-19 Specific Refund Details:
  • We are currently monitoring the evolving conditions in regard to COVID-19. We are planning to run all scheduled future seasons of Soccer Shots but may need to make adjustments to start and end dates or how the Soccer Shots Experience is delivered as we adhere to federal, state, and/or local guidelines.
  • Credits (Partial or Full) will be issued for any school, site, or field closure due to natural disaster, government emergency, health crisis, non-essential business closure, youth sports closure, or other fortuitous events.
    
  • Refunds (Partial or Full) will not be issued for any school, site, or field closure due to natural disaster, government emergency, health crisis, non-essential business closure, youth sports closure, or other fortuitous events.
  • Please note that this policy does not apply to external enrollment locations.

PAYMENT POLICY:

• Payment must be received prior to the first session.

MAKE-UP CLASSES & CANCELLATIONS:

• During the spring, summer, and fall seasons, whenever possible, we will use indoor space during inclement weather. If there is no indoor space available, we will make up a maximum of two classes due to inclement weather (extreme cold, heat, or rain).
• During the winter season, if your school or center is closed on a Soccer Shots day due to snow or other weather-related issues, we will work with your school or center to reschedule up to two canceled sessions or offer a make-up session at a different location and time.
• Make-up classes may be held on a different day or time than the regularly scheduled class.
• Soccer Shots reserves the right to cancel any program due to insufficient enrollment. Upon cancellation, a full refund will be made.
• For park and community programs there may be instances where a park or church/site schedules an event that conflicts with our agreed-upon start and end dates. If this is the case, there may be times when we have to postpone a session and add on another week due to this event. Please realize when signing up for programs at parks, churches, and community sites we do not have full control of these types of events and the set schedule may be subject to change.

ARRIVAL & DISMISSAL POLICY:

• Parents must sign out children from after-school programs at their childcare center. Parents are expected to arrive a few minutes before the session is complete.
• If your child is to be picked up by someone other than yourself, please note the authorized pickup person on the registration.
  

LOCATION:

• Location(s) subject to change in the case that the original space designated for the program is not available. In these instances, Soccer Shots will determine an alternative space that is appropriate for the program and notify parents accordingly.
  

Soccer Shots Families and Friends,
Your safety remains our number one priority and our team has made adjustments to our expert-approved curriculum and operating procedures accordingly. We know how important it is to ensure children have the opportunity to stay active and learn in a safe environment, and we remain committed to providing your family with a safe space to play and learn on Soccer Island. Additionally, all of our coaches have completed a mandatory health and safety course and are well-trained to abide by local health guidelines related to Covid-19. We are confident in the procedures we've implemented with the help of state and local health departments to keep your family safe while participating in our program. Thank you for participating in our program, we look forward to seeing you and your family on Soccer Island!

HEALTH & SAFETY ON SOCCER ISLAND
Review the adjustments our coaches will be making during your scheduled season and stay informed on our modified safety procedures related to Covid-19. As always, our focus is on providing your family with a quality, educational, and fun soccer experience!

During sessions our coaches will:

Avoid high-fives, fist bumps, and unnecessary physical contact;
Wear a face covering if our state and/or local jurisdiction requires or recommends doing so;
Use rings, spots, or blue cones as “home base” to keep children spread out when possible;
Continue to remind children of the importance of keeping safe distances when practicing skills;
Avoid the use of training jerseys/pinnies; and
Use a modified Soccer Shots cheer at the end of the session

COVID-19 POLICY
This policy is being implemented to operate our Soccer Shots program safely, with the help of experts in the field of health and medicine, and in accordance with local health guidelines. This policy is subject to change as new information and recommendations become available. If local guidelines change, we will update this policy accordingly.
Some locations may require policies that vary from ours, in these instances, Soccer Shots will adhere to policies required by our Partners. Parents will be notified regarding these location-specific guidelines in their Welcome Letter prior to the start of their season (if applicable).

Mask Requirements:

Fully Vaccinated Adults are not required to wear a mask while attending our program, though it is recommended.
If you are NOT vaccinated, you are required to wear a mask on Soccer Island and on the sidelines if you are not at least 6-feet away from the nearest person from outside of your household.

For Children

Children engaging in activities are not required to wear a mask while participating in our program, though it is recommended.

Children are required to wear a mask in and out of the park/location, on the sidelines, and during intervals between activities.

For Coaches

Fully Vaccinated Coaches are not required to wear a mask while teaching our program.

Fully Vaccinated Coaches are required to provide a record of vaccination to the Soccer Shots Leadership Team.

If a coach is NOT vaccinated, they are required to wear a mask while teaching our program.

Spectator Limits:
We are requesting that families adhere to a two spectator limit per family in an effort to respect local crowding recommendations, operate within capacity limits agreed upon with our local partners, and reduce the overall foot-traffic at our programs.

Arrival / Dismissal:
We are requesting that families remain in their vehicles and approach Soccer Island as close to their scheduled start-time as possible in order to provide our coaches with ample time to disinfect their equipment and limit contact among participants in-between sessions.
We are requesting that families leave Soccer Island at the conclusion of their scheduled end-time in a timely manner in order to limit contact among participants in-between sessions.

Symptom Monitoring:
We are requesting that families do not attend Soccer Shots if any member of their household is experiencing symptoms associated with Covid-19, especially a fever of 100.4°F or more in accordance with local health guidelines.
We are requesting that families do not attend Soccer Shots if any member of their household has tested-positive for Covid-19 and has not yet been cleared to return to the program by a contact tracer and/or health care provider.

Contact Tracing:
If a member of your household has tested-positive for Covid-19, we are recommending that you reach out to the Pennsylvania Department of Health for guidance. Call 1-877-PA-HEALTH (1-877-724-3258).

Quarantine Protocol:
If your child has tested-positive for Covid-19, they must self-quarantine for a minimum of 10-days after their positive test result before returning to Soccer Island.
This is in accordance with the most recent CDC recommendation titled "Isolate If You Are Sick", which you can read here!
If your child has had close contact with someone Covid-19-positive, they must self-quarantine for a minimum of 10-days after the initial contact before returning to Soccer Island.
*If your child tests-negative for Covid-19 (provided the test was taken at least 5-days after initial contact), they may return to Soccer Island as early as 7-days after the initial contact.
This is in accordance with the most recent CDC recommendation titled "When to Quarantine", which you can read here!

DISCLAIMERS
Policies and disclaimers for the upcoming season require a signature at the time of checkout. Credits (Partial or Full) will be issued for any school, site, or field closure due to natural disaster, government emergency, health crisis, non-essential business closure, youth sports closure, or other fortuitous events. We will continue to monitor all recommendations and requirements related to Covid-19 and update this policy accordingly in order to operate within the guidelines set forth by our local health department and trusted partners. Soccer Shots Families and Friends,
We remain committed to providing your family with a high-quality, educational, and fun soccer experience, come rain or shine! In the case of inclement weather conditions outdoors, and when possible, programs will be held in well-ventilated indoor spaces, as recommended by local health and safety guidelines. If your school or center is closed on Soccer Shots day due to inclement weather, we will work with your school or center to reschedule up to two canceled sessions, or, offer a make-up session at a different location and time. As always, please dress your child appropriately for Soccer Shots. Hats, gloves, boots, and layered clothing are recommended during cold temperatures. Short sleeves, shorts, light-weight materials, and ample water are recommended during warm temperatures. A Soccer Shots jersey and smile are recommended for all weather conditions!

WEATHER POLICY
All temperatures, wind-speeds, and humidity percentages that do not fall within serviceable conditions may be deemed unplayable and will require your scheduled session to be canceled or postponed. Soccer Shots reserves the right to hold outdoor or indoor sessions in all weather conditions while taking into consideration the health and safety of participants and staff.
